Largest vessel in the NLB fleet- maintaining lighhouses and navigational aids all around the Scottish and Manx coasts. Predominantly helicopter operations due to facilitation of helideck and winching areas on deck- the vessel is also capable of buoy maintenance campaigns as well. Accomodation is well laid out, cabins are reasonably spacious and offer good level of comfort. Each serviced with their own temperature control in both cabin and ensuite serparately. Veriety of lounges and downtime spaces. An on board gym is well kitted out for the compliment on board. Lounges have access to TV/Games console and a library which is stocked with a good selection of print publications- which is uncommon to see nowadays! Food and Drink on board is very well catered- good variety and styles of cooking. The catering team really do their job well. Soft Drinks/Confectionary are available- managed on a "token" system to avoid over-consumption. On board WiFi is accesible- with daily limits on data. This resets each day. Sufficient data to make a call and exchange messages. Vessel is overall well maintaned and kept clean and in good condition. However suffers only from having the same core-crew on board since build. Very much set in their ways and "this is how it has been done for years". A gentle approach to change is required!
