The Vestri Enabler is a real game-changer for us out on the wind farms. This ship feels like it's been designed by someone who actually knows what we deal with out here. First off, it’s not just big—it’s efficient. It’s got enough room for all of us, with space to spare. You’ve got 120 spots onboard, which means no cramming into corners, and the facilities? Chef’s kiss. There’s a solid mix of workspaces and chill zones, so you can focus and still unwind after a long day. Now, the tech. That motion-compensated gangway is an absolute dream. You barely notice the waves when you’re crossing onto a turbine; it’s smooth sailing (pun intended). Plus, the 3D crane and lift make moving gear and teams quick and easy—no more wrestling with kit like it’s got a mind of its own. But here’s the kicker: it’s set up to go green, thanks to its battaries. Knowing you’re working on a boat that’s actually trying to make a difference in reducing emissions? That’s a nice touch, especially when you’re part of the renewable energy world. All in all, the doesn’t just get the job done—it does it in style and comfort. Honestly, it feels like the kind of support we’ve been waiting for in this field. Makes those long shifts out on the turbines a whole lot better. The crew onboard are also fantastic! From the professional and friendly officers down to the diligent stewards. A pleasure to sail on her.

Newbuild CSOV offers a modern and high standard of work and living on board. Cabins are hardwood vinyl floored, beds have mattresses with a soft or hard side. Linen and laundry changed out every week on a regular schedule. Catering and messing facilities on board are of a high standard. Food is plentiful with a good selection and variety to choose from. Breakfast/Lunch/Dinner/Midnight meal to allow both day and night shift operations. Additional items such as chocolate, soft drinks and basic toiletries are also available on board through the chief steward, at reasonable but not quite extortionate prices. Vessel features a MacGregor W2W gangway and motion compensated crane. The unique feature of this is it is wholly controlled via a crane operators position on the bridge with screens as opposed to a physical cab! A first for me. Additional boat landing aft for CTV push on, cargo transfer and ship to ship operations. Recreation and downtime facilities are available to all. PS5 for communal use, board games and large TVs in the main social area. Vessel also has a reasonably well kitted out gym with treadmills, rowing machine, multi weights and free weights as well. Additional to this, the "planned" hydrogen fuel room is utilised as a indoor badminton court, table tennis table and darts board. All utilised well. Crew and officers are a good bunch who are very professional and competent in their work, but also friendly and down to earth with the client(s) and technicians on board.
